Today is Zhou Mi’s 25th birthday, and so it is a very special day, indeed.
First of all, I’d like to thank Zhou Mi for always being a ray of sunlight, no matter the weather conditions or the social conditions he’s faced with. He greets the world head-on, a smile always turning the corners of his gorgeous mouth, never backing down from a challenge. Despite all the adversary, all the harmful words spoken against him, he still devotes himself 110% to being a member of Super Junior and helping those members shine.
You are amazingly talented, Zhou Mi, whether it be vocally, emotionally or personally; you excel in every aspect of your life.
And now it seems to have become something of a tradition to talk about Kyuhyun in these birthday posts.. but really, in the case of Zhou Mi it’s virtually unavoidable (for me anyway). Zhou Mi has done so much for the evil maknae, that is indisputable. Zhou Mi can bring a smile out of Kyuhyun easier than anyone I’ve ever seen. But not only that, he has inspired him to make others want to smile. Let’s revisit the entry that went with this particular picture:
When we took this photo, Kyuhyun said my expression wasn’t HIGH enough~~ so we decided to take another one…
—
T/N: when Chinese people use “HIGH” they are referring to the feeling expressed by, er: :DDDDDDD (trans by: evaporate)And I believe we are all familiar with the second photograph that was taken immediately after, and the “two sets of big white teeth appeared” and Zhou Mi’s affectionate “Ah, my little space case, does this count as HIGH? hahahaah” commentary.
Kyuhyun, Kyuhyun of all people, wanted to RETAKE a photograph because he wasn’t satisfied with the degree of happiness displayed in the picture. Kyuhyun, who is shy and prefers taking the pictures than being captured in them asked to retake this with you, Zhou Mi. You make him so happy and you provide him with so much comfort. Like when Kyuhyun was sick over the summer, you stayed in the dorms with him and watched movies with him while all the other members were doing their schedules. You took care of him… you always take care of him.. and he always takes care of you. ♥
That’s what Zhou Mi does to him; that’s what Zhou Mi does to everyone he ever interacts with. He brings out the best in them; he redefines “joy”.
Zhou Mi, who could have given up and thrown in the towel long ago, is still pursuing his dream. And look where he’s ended up. He’s hosted his own TV program, gotten his own Super Show solo, claimed a dancing title, proven his worth… and most importantly, he makes so many people happy.
Happy birthday Mr. Mimi, I hope today is a day to remember, a day for people to show you how much you mean to them. ♥
